I
began drawing on the walls in crayon at an early age, but my serious
art education began at Maryland Institute of Art in Baltimore.
I'm
a longtime freelance artist, illustrating and designing for individuals,
business owners, media, and organizations everything from
courtroom sketches to pet portraits, on-the-spot caricatures to
editorial cartoons. A new challenge has always been irresistable.
Since
the late 90s, I've turned to the computer technology which makes
graphic design such a delight, as well as web design and desktop
publishing. I take my digital camara everywhere and enjoy creative
image editing, as well.
I'm
also known as a theatrical costume designer, occasional bellydancer,
and author of a how-to book series:
The Costume Goddess Tells All.
I'm
a political activist and owner of a non-profit org for
political art Citizen
Artiste.
My
daily observations and inspirations about art and photography, plus
useful tips, are on DESIGN CHAT.
